Trump Toronto - Stationery Package
Our brand development process started with nothing more than a logo from The Trump Organization in 2003 (for another property). The Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto brand had to exude luxury, but also make a modern, definitive break from the outdated gold-plated Trump brand vision of the past. We took the gold-colored globe and text logo from One Central Park West, reduced the amount of text lines in the logo and more importantly, changed the color scheme from gold and black, to platinum and charcoal — which was later adopted by Trump Hotel Collection for all of their properties in 2008. We created 2-color metallic-foil-stamped and embossed logos for kit covers, invitations and brochures, 1-color foil-stamped logos for premium business cards, letterhead and envelopes and 2-color (print) versions for general office use. Various weights of Strathmore Classic Linen paper were used throughout, including heavy-weight duplexed white and charcoal cover stock for the presentation cover, invitations and business cards. This stationery package was very well-received and set the tone for all of our Trump Toronto brand-related work that followed. Photo Credits: Howard "Hack" Tikka
