In late 2009, the interior design team (Inna Levitan and II by IV) created two model suite mockups inside a nondescript warehouse in the Toronto suburbs to test materials and real-world space, look and feel. I contracted photographer Michael Mahovlich to shoot a few photos that we could use for our promotional marketing efforts. Despite the lack of heat in the warehouse for the two-day shoot, the limited space and awkward angles we had to shoot around, I was very pleased in how the shots came out. The actual suites that were constructed at Trump Toronto were nearly a carbon copy as what you see here. Although I art directed most of the shots, the credit really goes to Michael Mahovlich and to my multi-talented PR partners, Dorenda McNeil and Emma Jowett, for helping steam, style and get the wrinkles out of the drapes and bedding materials. The details matter!
